¶ EGLOGIN Command
The EGLOGIN command opens the EGBoundary license login window and allows users to activate their license using a valid license file.
This command is primarily used when:
- Activating a purchased license
- Reopening the login dialog manually
- Switching or validating licenses
- Troubleshooting activation issues
¶ Command Syntax
EGLOGIN
The command is case-insensitive.
The login dialog allows users to:
- Load a license file
- Activate a Node Lock license
- Activate a Floating license
- Validate license credentials
- Access licensed functionality
Use the command when:
- Trial dialog does not appear
- License activation is required
- Login window was closed accidentally
- Floating license needs activation
- Re-login is required
Start any supported CAD application.
Create or open a drawing.
¶ Step 3 — Run Command
Enter:
EGLOGIN
Press Enter.
The EGBoundary Login window will appear.
Inside the Login window:
- Click:
Browse
- Select the license file received via email
- Wait for validation
After selecting the correct license file:
License file loaded successfully
will appear.
The detected license type will also be displayed.
After loading the file:
- Click:
Login
- License validation begins
- Successful activation message appears:
Login Successful
- Click:
OK
Activation is now completed.
- Node Lock Subscription
- Node Lock Perpetual
- Floating Subscription
- Floating Perpetual
- Invalid file
- Corrupted file
- Wrong license file selected
- Re-download license file
- Verify file integrity
- Contact support if issue persists
- Internet unavailable
- Floating session already active
- Unsupported CAD version
- Expired license
- Verify internet connectivity
- Retry login
- Restart CAD application
- Contact support if needed
